Hey, thanks for taking time to look at this! I'd like to meet someone who I click with for friends now with potential down the road. I primarily work in academia and love every second of it. I have another job which actually pays the bills, and that one isn't too bad either. However, with the hours I work, I have a hard time getting out to meet new people. I've been running in the same circle for years and I really think it's time to expand my horizons. I'm looking for someone who shares at least some of my interests... I'm a sucker for live music, local, regional, national, whatever. I really like anything on stage. I love stand up, theatre, both straight plays and musicals, and I've been known to see a dance performance from time to time, too. I've never been to MIA and would love to explore that museum sometime. Don't worry, I have plenty of low brow interests as well. Part of me really wants to see the new Jackass movie. I mean, a group of guys causing themselves harm... what's not to love? I love just wandering the city and people watching, or hopping a bus or train and discovering new parts of the metro I probably wouldn't have ventured to otherwise. So here's the deal breakers, or what will be for you I should say... I'm a smoker, however infrequent. I also don't have a car. Living in the city I find I don't really need one, and trust me, I do just fine without it. What? Were you expecting something horrible? Nah, it's just the details. If you're up for it, I'm looking to go out this evening. Dinner, drinks, coffee, whatever. I just want to actually meet more people. If you like what you've read, shoot me an email.
