It's Friday and after a hard day at work you bike home. As you're coming down the driveway you see Jr. and Miss Jr. playing outside. Jr. is shooting hoops and Miss Jr. is in her playhouse pretending to cook Daddy some dinner. When they see you they both come running over to give you a hug and ask you to take them for a bike ride. You smile, but tell them that it's almost dinner time and you can all go for a ride over the weekend. Jr. goes back to playing basketball and Miss. Jr gives you a pretend plate of meatloaf and potatoes to eat. You go inside to see what the wife is up to. She's in the kitchen getting dinner ready her famous lasagna. You kiss her hello and grab a beer for each of you out of the fridge. You make small talk for a few minutes and she tells you dinner should be done in a half hour. You ask her if she needs help with anything but she tells you to just go relax. So, you go upstairs to change into something more comfortable and check your email. You even get a short video game in before dinner is ready. At the table everyone takes turns talking about their day. Your wife homeschools so she lets the kids tell you what they did. Today was a field trip day so the kids talk about all the different animals they saw at the petting zoo. Mom also took them grocery shopping and explained that tomorrow night's dinner will be planned and cooked by the kids. You talk a little about your day at work but mostly just enjoy the food and listening to your family. After dinner, the whole family clears and cleans the table and puts the dishes in the dishwasher. You go up to the kid's room to help them into their pajamas and read them some books while mom gets a few moments to rest. You both put the kids to bed together and then spend about an hour doing your own things maybe Dad goes to the garage and tinkers with the car or motorcycle while mom checks her email, calls a friend or works on some of her artwork.
